AMHYGEN Project – Maritime Decarbonisation
ALSYS committed to decarbonising maritime transport through the AMHYGEN project
ALSYS is proud to announce the participation of its subsidiary ENERCAT in the AMHYGEN project. The AMHYGEN project has been selected as a winner of a national call for projects. It is designated “Support for the decarbonisation of the French maritime sector”.
AMHYGEN is developing a hybrid energy solution adapted to the maritime sector. It also integrates more efficient electricity generation. The solution will be tested in real operating conditions aboard the Energy Observer 3 laboratory vessel. This demonstrator will validate system performance in a maritime environment.
ENERCAT is participating in the AMHYGEN project alongside Energy Observer Concept, Genvia and the University of Orléans. These industrial and academic partners jointly contribute to the development of the solution.
As part of the project, ENERCAT provides its expertise in catalysis and associated systems. These technologies ensure reliable operation compatible with maritime constraints.
ENERCAT already plays an active role in reducing the environmental impact of industrial activities. The company offers catalytic solutions for the treatment of industrial gaseous emissions. Its expertise covers studies, design, supply and on-site services.
Through AMHYGEN, ALSYS confirms its commitment to the energy transition. ALSYS contributes to the development of sustainable industrial solutions.
